Tunnel construction with DYNAJET in Copenhagen
High-pressure water-jetting systems support surface preparation in tunnel construction and renovation. See how DYNAJET was used on one of Denmark's largest infrastructure projects.

The professional choice
in water-jetting technology.
The Nordhavnsvej Tunnel in Copenhagen is one of Denmark's most significant infrastructure projects. The four-lane tunnel runs 1.65 km below the Danish capital, with a diameter of two times 14 m, connecting the Nordhavn district to the Helsingør motorway. For surface preparation of the tunnel walls, the contractor selected DYNAJET.
The DYNAJET 500th was deployed in both tunnel tubes. With working pressure steplessly adjustable up to 500 bar, the machine removed concrete residue, splatters and other contamination from the walls quickly and reliably, leaving the surface ready for the final concrete application.
Tunnel construction and renovation place strict demands on surface preparation. Walls must be free of residue before new concrete or coatings can be applied, and the work often has to be carried out in confined spaces with limited access. DYNAJET water-jetting systems are built for exactly these conditions, combining adjustable pressure, hot water capability and a compact setup that works within the constraints of an active construction site.
DYNAJET water-jetting systems are established equipment on large infrastructure projects worldwide, including tunnel construction, motorway renovation and major urban development sites.
SURFACE PREPARATION WITH THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT
The WSS water-sandblasting attachment connects directly to the DYNAJET 500th and uses garnet sand as the blasting medium, making it suitable for removing stubborn residue from concrete and other hard surfaces.
