The right personal protective equipment for high-pressure work
Personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential when working with a DYNAJET high-pressure cleaner. Find out which PPE is recommended for different pressure ranges and why correct protection matters for safe, compliant operation on site.

Personal protective equipment for DYNAJET high-pressure water jetting
High-pressure jets can cause severe injury, so personal protective equipment is a basic part of safe work with a DYNAJET high-pressure cleaner. The right PPE reduces risk, supports compliant operation and helps operators stay protected in demanding industrial and construction environments.
For work up to 800 bar, DYNAJET recommends a complete set of protective equipment. This includes a protective helmet, ear protection, safety glasses, a face shield visor, waterproof protective clothing, waterproof gloves and protective boots with a cap and ankle protection. This equipment is designed to reduce the effect of splashing water and to support safe handling during routine cleaning tasks.
When pressure levels rise above 800 bar, additional protection becomes necessary. High-pressure protective gaiters or boots with protection up to 3000 bar, as well as a high-pressure apron, help extend protection for operators working in more demanding applications. The exact equipment required depends on the pressure range, the task and the site rules that apply in your country.
It is the operator's responsibility to wear PPE correctly and to check its condition regularly. For professional operators, this means treating safety gear as part of the water jetting system, not as an optional extra. Always follow the safety instructions for your DYNAJET high-pressure water jetting system and the local accident prevention regulations before starting work.
Recommended PPE up to 800 bar for safer operation
At up to 800 bar, DYNAJET recommends helmet, hearing protection, eye and face protection, waterproof clothing, gloves and boots with toe cap and ankle support.

Extra protection needed for pressure ranges above 800 bar
For higher pressure ranges, add high-pressure gaiters or boots and a high-pressure apron to improve protection during demanding cleaning applications.
