A key task is the regular removal of anti-fouling coating, which is carried out every two to three years before the hull can be recoated. The work is carried out at around 80°C and 350 bar working pressure. At these settings, the outer skin of the hull, which covers about 500 m², can be cleaned and stripped efficiently in roughly six hours. This helps prepare the surface for the next coating step and keeps the vessel ready for continued service.

Anti-fouling removal is one of the most important maintenance tasks for fast and dependable boat operation.
